Thoughts from citizen Gyder:

You ought to consider the third party.  Ever heard of the Libertarian Party? Although considered radical by the main stream press (who seem to support status quo), they have a lot of good ideas, mostly about personal responsibility vs government intervention.  Massive tax cuts too.  The two party system (which by the way anyone who has read the constitution knows we don't have) is a government lie, pretty much taught to us in our public (government) schools as a means of proliferating its existance.  I don't see a big difference between the two parties,  They both talk good stories, but in the end, the results are bigger government.  Its just the programs that change or the means.  For example:

THE DRUG WAR:

Sounds like prohibition from the 30s.  Didn't work then, not working now.  Filling expensive prisons with non-violent victimless criminals while forcing real criminals out of a overcrowded system with no space.  Drug wars with gangsters fighting for turf, gunning down innocent citizens for overpriced commodities?  Why.  Sounds like Al Capone, only he had alcohol.  Sound silly, but imagine people gunning down others over beer.  That was the 30s.  Imagine how our great grand children will reflect on the War on Drugs in 70 years.  They will problably think we were a little crazy.

INCOME TAX:

A truly raw deal full of complex formulas, rich lawyers and accountants, privacy invasion, social engineering.  Wow.  And its even unconstitional as I read it.  What a bunch of bunk.  There is necessary taxation. This is not one of them.  What a waste of national resources.  A tax should be easy to compute, monitor and administer, not to mention a legitamate end use.

EDUCATION:

Truly a local issue.  Every parents right to teach children as they see fit.  Federal grant money tied to federal programs or it is cut off.  Education is an issue, but surely not a national one.  Let the tax decrease begin the day after the Education Dept is shut down and let the local municipalities deal with education.

THE LIST IS ENDLESS:

The point is too much taxation for redistribution, social engineering and a bunch of other things our Constitution never intended.  Personal responsibility vs an entitlement mentality.

You know which one I believe in.
